- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY NOT PEOPLE. I called to see if they were accepting new patients. The first question was, what insurance company do you have. As soon as I said I was self pay (I have been for many years) they said they didn't have anything until October. but if I was an established patient then I could get in next week.September 16, 2017by Brandon Abbott
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I would love to give this office zero stars. I became a patient of Dr. Wayne Black in 2005 and was most definitely pleased. He truly cared about his patients and their health concerns. Once he retired and Dr. Hance Oliver became the head physician the practice took a turn for the worse. Dr. Oliver is a condescending man who has very little concern about the patients. During your appointment you are taken into an exam room where your blood pressure and temperature are taken. You are then escorted to Dr. Oliver's office because apparently he is too holier than thou to come see you in the exam room. He sits behind his desk and dictates to you what is going to happen. He never asks questions about your concerns nor does he bother to pick up a stethoscope to listen to your heart or lungs. Smokers beware because that is the only issue he will address and proceeds to lecture you and tries to shove medicines in your face; again not listen to your heart or lungs. The original staff was wonderful but even they are abandoning ship. A second doctor (Benjamin Rawls) was brought in and is a huge asset to this practice. This doctor did more for me in 6 months than Dr. Oliver did in 2 years. Sadly, even Dr. Rawls is now resigning from the practice. I do have to say that Rosa (Dr. Rawls' nurse) is an absolute treasure. My husband and I are now in the process of finding a new practice with a doctor who truly cares about ALL concerns of your health.January 29, 2017by Dawn Mize
